Tigger won’t let me pet new cats
This tuxedo cat has been coming to my back door for a couple weeks now. I have a soft spot for animals in need, so of course I feed and pet him. He is very sweet, as you can see. He has scabs on the back of his neck, and on his ears. He’s declawed on the front paws, he’s neutered, and has an obvious old injury to his back left leg. The vet said he got it as a kitten, because that leg is actually shorter. I don’t know if he’s someone’s cat or if he’s abandoned. I gave him a name, Bootsie, since he comes back every day. All my cats get irritated when I pet another cat, but Tigger is especially crazy. He is very territorial and protective of his mama (me).
